Community Thanksgiving Dinner In Wadena Continues

This year will make 30 years for the annual Wadena Thanksgiving dinner.

If you think about it, the very first Thanksgiving Dinner was a community dinner and Wadena continues to have its own. The tradition continues with the 30th annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church on Thursday,  November 28th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at St. Ann’s Parish Center.

The meal is free, but they do accept donations of non-perishable food items or cash for the food shelf. Traditional dinner with smoked turkey by the BBQ Smokehouse, mashed potatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes, cranberries, vegetables, pumpkin bars and coffee. They can even deliver to your home. This event has grown in size over the years so they need more volunteers. Call: 218-631-4042 ext. 4 to volunteer and 218-631-2617 to request a delivered meal.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
