CoronaProm 2020

Maybe you saw the picture of me on our Facebook page yesterday. It’s a 1970s tuxedo that the Winona Area Barbershoppers used as their concert uniform and I got my hands on it.

If you didn’t see it, here you go…

It comes in handy in multiple settings. It’s seen many Halloween parties. It made an appearance at the Princess Warrior 5k. And most recently, in a video promoting a little fun.

A friend of mine, Pete Phillips, teaches in Waubun and has been doing daily videos for his students. Encouraging them to stay strong, ask questions, perservere, remain positive, and to jam out to good music. I like them a lot. It’s all very strange right now and I don’t think anyone understands more than Pete how to embrace the possibilities.

Anyway, most or all proms have been postponed/cancelled so Pete put together a how-to-video so you can enjoy your own version of prom this year. It’s called CoronaProm and I was thrilled to be a part of it.

You are good enough!
