Fun Facts About The Fourth

We’re gearing up for the July 4th holiday and came across some fun things about the day.

For example:

  • Did you know Thomas Jefferson was just 33 years old when he wrote the Declaration of Independence. I’m 33. The only thing I’ve ever written is this.
  • Two of the signers later became president: John Adams and Thomas Jefferson
  • The first Independence Day wasn’t July 4th at all. It was July 8, 1776.
  • The original tune for the Star Spangled Banner is actually an homage to drinking wine.

Check out the entire list HERE.

And if you need a reminder of where you can watch the fireworks this week, check out Kyle’s blog from earlier this week.

Happy Independence Day!
