We’re gearing up for the July 4th holiday and came across some fun things about the day.
For example:
- Did you know Thomas Jefferson was just 33 years old when he wrote the Declaration of Independence. I’m 33. The only thing I’ve ever written is this.
- Two of the signers later became president: John Adams and Thomas Jefferson
- The first Independence Day wasn’t July 4th at all. It was July 8, 1776.
- The original tune for the Star Spangled Banner is actually an homage to drinking wine.

Happy Independence Day!
