Infant Death In Crow Wing County Being Investigated

Authorities are investigating the death of an infant in Crow Wing County.

According to the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office, a 911 call was received at about 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12th reporting an unresponsive infant at a residence in Crow Wing Township.

Sheriff’s deputies and emergency responders attempted lifesaving measures at the scene, before the infant was taken to St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd where the infant was pronounced dead.

Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office investigators and the Ramsey County Medical Examiner are investigating the cause of the infant’s death.
