Is Your Vehicle The Most Stolen Vehicle Of The Past Year?

After 43 years as the best selling vehicle in the U.S. the Ford F-Series pickup is also the most stolen!   In particular, if you own a 2006 Ford F-Series pickup, thieves have their eyes on it.

Almost 39,000 2006 Ford F-Series pickups were stolen last year.  But there are other favorites of car thieves…

2) 2000 Honda Civic

3) 2004 Chevy Silverado

4) 1997 Honda Accord

5) 2007 Toyota Camry

The 2015 Nissan Altima, 2018 Toyota Corolla, 2001 Dodge Ram, 2018 GMC Sierra and 2001 Honda CR-V are also on the list of most stolen.

In Minnesota?  Here’s your list of most stolen vehicles in the past year…

2000 Honda Civic, 1996 Honda Accord, 2000 Honda CR-V, 1999 Chevy full-size pickup, 2009 Toyota Camry, 2004 Ford full-size pickup, 2007 Chevy Impala, 2001 Toyota Corolla, 2019 Jeep Cherokee/Grand Cherokee and a 2005 Dodge Caravan.

In Iowa the most stolen car is the 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, in Wisconsin it’s a 2003 Dodge Caravan, in South Dakota it’s a 2005 Chevy full-size pickup and in North Dakota they want my 2007 Chevy full-size pickup.

To avoid being a victim, always remove your keys from the ignition, lock your doors and close your windows and park in a well lit area.
