Lakewood Health System Confirms Three Positive Cases Of COVID-19

According to a press release, Lakewood Health System is confirming that two patients and one Lakewood provider have been tested positive for COVID-19.

Working with the Minnesota Department of Health, Lakewood health system confirmed the positive cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday morning. It was also noted that all the individuals are currently in isolation and recovering in their homes. 

Lakeland and the MDH are working to identify and contact staff and patients that were in close contact over the past seven days.

“I want to ensure the public we are taking all steps necessary to protect our patients, residents and staff, Just like our patients, we must all follow the strict guidelines of staying home when sick. Patient safety is our highest priority.”
