• The library is currently accepting applications for this volunteer’s position
• The library board is responsible to the City Council for the polices and annual operating budget of the library

Ideal Candidate for the position

• Resident of Ottertail County
• Supports the mission and vision of the library
• Resists censorship of Library materials
• Can attend monthly meetings (third Wednesday of every month at 4:30 pm)
• Is willing to help with Library fundraising

• If you are interested in applying for this volunteer board position, please pick up an application at the library. Applications must be returned by June 15, 2026. The Library Board will review the applications and make a recommendation to the New York Mills City Council for appointment.
