Sure, maybe the weather didn’t cooperate on the day I wanted to fly out but what a fun trip it was!
A friend of mine from my days in Montana has lived in St. Augustine with his wife for four years and finally the timing worked in our favor!
Honestly, I don’t have much to say about the trip, other than, make sure you visit. It’s right on the ocean. It has a beautiful downtown, with everything in walking distance. It’s an amazing piece of American history (established in 1546). And has a deep history and involvement in the civil rights movement of the 1960s.
I got to see original artwork of Salvador Dali and Dr. Seuss. Walked across the Bridge of Lions. Ate sushi and jammed to Charlie Brown at the restaurant. (Honestly, read about Charlie Brown HERE… he’s legendary.)
Oh, and I got to see Tiffany Stained Glass windows at Flagler College.
I’m glad to be back in Minnesota but I can’t wait to go visit St. Augustine again.
