Talent Contest Winners At The Hubbard County Fair

Another stand-out group of contestants performed in the annual Hubbard County Fair talent show on Thursday night.

Winner of the pre-teen division was 11 year old Adeline Bjorklund, who was competing for the 5th time.

Winner of the teen division which had a large number of contestants was 15 year old Hannah Beck, who sang “Don’t rain on my parade” and 14 year old Paige Cowden took second singing “Someone you love.”

In the Open division, Faith Kern was back after missing last years show and took first performing “A new life.”

Winners receive $150 cash and the opportunity to perform at the State Fair.  The second place finisher in the teen division was awarded $100.

As the emcee of the show, I always enjoy seeing the progress contestants make as they gain experience and confidence.  Congratulations to everyone who participated!
