If you like seafood, Salmon in particular, here’s a recipe my Mom came up with a number of years ago when she was working for Morey’s Seafood in Motley. Its my go-to for grilling Alaskan Salmon!
First get yourself some of your favorite salmon fillets, for me i prefer Silver Salmon. It has great flavor and it wont break the bank. In a sauce pan, combine 1/4 C of Butter, 3 Tablespoons of Dried Mustard, 3 tablespoons of ketchup, 2 tablespoons each of Worcestershire, and soy sauce, bring to a soft simmer. Stir and brush over your salmon as your grilling, or baking. Depending on the size, I recommend about 350 degrees for 7-12 minutes! Or as Mom used to say, you just know! Salmon is great by itself for sure, but if you want to try something out of the ordinary. Try my Mom’s secret salmon sauce recipe…I think it’s fabulous, of course i’m being a bit biased, but Mom is worth it! Enjoy!
