Our first Wolverine Player of the Week for the winter sports season is Payton Gravelle! She is an 8th grader on the WDC girls basketball team.

Here is what Wolverine head girls basketball coach Jordan Cresap had to say about Payton’s performance last week.

“Payton had a fantastic week for us. She averaged 16 points and 18 rebounds through the two games. She did a great job challenging PRB’s best post player defensively and set the tone for us inside against Staples. She has been rebounding in traffic incredibly well. Despite only being an 8th grader, she is a consistent vocal leader and always brings intensity and energy to games and practices.”
