Our next Wolverine Player Spotlight is Isaac Heppner of the WDC cross country team!

Here is what Wadena-Deer Creek head cross country coach Mike Brunsberg had to say about Isaac’s performance last week.

“Junior Isaac Heppner has been consistently running 1:00-1:30 faster than last year’s comparable races and has started a growth trend that’s hard to beat: posting Season Best times for each of the last five races (including the challenging Roy Griak course and a taxing race day of heat at this weekend’s Border Battle).

As the boys’ team eldest member, he’s emerging as a leader via his experience, durability, and charismatic personality. Isaac helps to keep things both tight (working hard and hitting time goals) and loose (experiencing and sharing fun/joy). ”
