Lake Park-Audubon Starts Season 2-0 After Win Vs. Wadena-Deer Creek

LAKE PARK, Minn.– Lake Park-Audubon went 2-7 in 2024. Now two weeks into the 2025 season, the Raiders have already reached last year’s win total behind a 55-8 victory at home against Wadena-Deer Creek.

A balanced attack with big plays on the air and ground led the way for LPA. Led by quarterback Luca Beske, who followed up a 4 passing touchdown Week 1 by going 9/14 passing with 158 yards and two touchdowns through the air and 20 yards rushing. Ben Newman led the way on the ground with 47 rushing yards in the first half.

Wadena-Deer Creek was led offensively on the ground game by running back Caden Nemeth with 48 rushing yards. Wolverine quarterback Cam Snyder rushed for 33 yards.
