Our next Wolverine Player Spotlight puts the focus on Owen Anderson, a senior on the Wadena-Deer Creek cross country team!

Here is what head cross country coach Mike Brunsberg had to say about Owen’s performance last week.

“Owen Anderson’s PR at Sections helped propel key teammates to do the same…all of which was crucial to edging out Top 10 ranked Sauk Centre and earning a team spot at State. In fact, the next three teammates after Owen also ran PRs–benefitting from his momentum and closing out their races (and the top 5 team “point getters”) to within 20 seconds of his finish time. A model of consistency this season–the Section race was Owen’s 7th “Top 15” finish (he was 13th) this season.”
