On 10/31-24, at 4:24am, the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a structure fire in the 44000 block of 344th St, which is in Rush Lake Township, north of the city of Ottertail.

The initial report was of a residence with visible smoke inside. Ottertail fire, Ottertail rescue, Perham fire, Perham ambulance, and the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office responded. There was significant damage to the inside of the residence. There were minor injuries to the occupants of the residence. The origin of the fire is believed to be non-suspicious in nature.
