WADENA, Minn.– A matchup of two Class AA girls basketball teams with winning records halfway through the season took place Tuesday night as the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines (6-2) hosted the Minnewaska Area Lakers (8-2).

It was a strong offensive night for the Lakers, who downed the Wolverines by a score of 69-37.
