On 3/9/2026, at 0344 hours, Otter Tail County Dispatch received a call of a structure fire located Northwest of the city limits of Wadena in Otter Tail County (37000 block of County Highway 75).

Members from the Bluffton, Wadena, Sebeka and New York Mills Fire Departments along with Astera Ambulance assisted the Sheriff’s Office at the scene. A deceased male was located within the residence and the cause of death is under investigation. At this time it is believed that no foul play is involved. The residence is a total loss and the incident is under investigation by the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office and the MN State Fire Marshal’s Office.
