Amateur Hour, the bi-weekly town baseball segment covering all of the squads across central Minnesota hosted by CJ Baumgartner, continues to cover local amateur baseball in 2025!

  • Hunter Holtti goes 6 shutout innings to pick up the W against Dent
  • Brayden Ehnert launches a home run for the Millers in the mid-week tilt

  • Fordyce Johnson, Luke Weniger, Brayden Aho all come away with multi-hit games
  • Jackson Weniger mashes his first home run of the season with a 2 run shot over the trees in center at Dick Stigman Field

Detroit Lakes – 0 vs. Hibbing Miners – 8

Midway – 13 vs. Ada Athletics – 14

  • Both teams collect 13+ hits each in a back and forth extra-inning game between the Snurdbirds and the A’s
