Full Event Schedule for 2025 Wadena County Fair

WADENA, Minn (KWAD). — The Wadena County Fair is back and bigger than ever, inviting everyone to “Make Some Memories at the Fair” from Tuesday, June 17 through Sunday, June 22. With a full slate of activities, competitions, entertainment, and food, there’s something for everyone at this beloved community tradition.

Tuesday, June 17: Kickoff Day

The fair kicks off with 4-H general project judging and livestock interviews from 1 to 5 p.m., setting the stage for a week packed with youth competitions and agricultural excellence.

Wednesday, June 18: Horse Show & Vendor Setup

At 10 a.m., the 4-H Horse Show begins in the Horse Arena. Vendors begin setting up from 4 to 8 p.m.

Thursday, June 19: Daycare Day

“Daycare Day” offers non-stop action starting at 8 a.m. with the 4-H Rabbit Show. Highlights include:

    • 8 AM: 4-H Rabbit Show (Show Arena)

    • 10 AM: Beer Garden Opens

    • 10 AM: Commercial Buildings Open

    • 11 AM: John Cassidy – Magician (Com 2)

    • 11:30 AM: 4-H Swine Show (Show Arena)

    • 1 PM: 4-H Sheep Show / Lamb Lead (Show Arena)

    • 1:30 PM: 4-H Beef Show (Show Arena)

    • 2 PM: John Cassidy – Magician (Com 2)

    • 2 PM: Beer Garden Opens

    • 3 PM: Kids Coin Scramble (Outside of Home & Hobbies)

    • 5:30 PM: 4-H Goat (Meat and Dairy) Show (Show Arena)

    • 6:30 PM: John Cassidy – Magician (Com 2)

    • 6:45 PM: Color Guard / National Anthem / Posting of the Flag (Grandstand)

    • 7 PM: Monster Trucks (Grandstand)

Friday, June 20: Senior Citizens Day

  • 9 AM: 4-H Dairy Show (Show Arena)

  • 10 AM: Commercial Buildings Open

Wristband Ride Specials

Wristbands are available for unlimited carnival rides during the following times:

  • Thursday, June 19: 5–9 p.m.

  • Friday, June 20: 2–8 p.m.

  • Saturday, June 21: 12–4 p.m. or 6–10 p.m.

  • Sunday, June 22: 12–4 p.m.

From livestock shows to magicians, bingo to demolition derbies, and all the funnel cakes in between, the Wadena County Fair promises a week full of memories and community celebration.
