The Team, Singles, and Doubles Tournament in 8AA Girls Tennis is underway with two rounds already in the books.
On the team side, Fergus Falls has advanced to the championship round by beating Sauk Rapids-Rice in the Quarterfinals 7-0 and Little Falls in the Semifinals 5-2. The Otters will face Becker, who knocked off ROCORI 7-0 in the Quarterfinals and Perham/New York Mills in the Semifinals 4-3.
The Championship Match and a trip to the State Tournament are on the line Friday, October 10th at StaFit Courts with a 3:00 start time.

The Singles Tournament is on to the Semifinal rounds with Kaia Anderson of Perham/New York Mills vs. Grace Conzemius of Becker and Ali Bredenberg of Fergus Falls vs. Aurora Jabas of Perham/New York Mills.
Anderson defeated Brielle Karasch of Sauk Rapids-Rice 6-0, 6-1 in the First Round and dropped Myla Ballou of Little Falls 6-0, 6-1 in the Quarterfinals. Conzemius set aside Ava Fradenburgh of Detroit Lakes 6-0, 6-1 and Layla Zosel of Fergus Falls 6-2, 6-0. Bredenberg topped Hailey Holthaus of ROCORI 6-2, 6-4 and Ava Duncombe of Becker 7-6, 4-6, 6-1. Jabas beat Isabelle Wolfe of Detroit Lakes 6-1, 6-0 and Leah Roesch of Sauk Rapids-Rice 7-6, 6-2.

The Semifinals of the Doubles Tournament are also set with Ruby Ellison and Ashtyn Lill of Fergus Falls vs. Chloe Spear and Tess Brown of Becker in one match, and Brook Litke and Olivia Litke of Little Falls vs. Hattie Fullhart and /Dylan Lill of Fergus Falls.
Ellison/Lill beat Cecellia Heneke and Elena Peterson of Sauk Rapids-Rice in the First Round 6-1, 6-2 before beating Olivia Hedlund and Katie Gerads of Sartell 6-0, 6-0 in the Quarterfinals. Spear/Brown defeated Miley Anderson and Andie Janke of Perham/New York Mills 7-6, 6-3 and Aylah Iverson and Danika Holmberg of Little Falls 6-4, 7-5. Litke/Litke beat Emma Nemanich and Aubrey Olmscheid of Sartell 6-1, 6-1 and Bella Huwe and Lucy Wallgren of Perham/New York Mills 6-1, 6-4. While Fullhart/Lill topped Audrey Hochgraber and Jaycie Sliper of Detroit Lakes 6-0, 6-2 and Taylor Lisson and Faith Bass of Becker 6-0, 6-1.
