This is the perfect event for little ones to get into the Halloween spirit during the weekend leading up to Halloween. Costumes are encouraged for an afternoon filled with make-and-take crafts, Halloween-themed games, tricks, treats, and plenty of fun!

There is more fun to be had in and around NYM for Halloween: stop by Designs by Tes on Saturday, October 25 before the Cultural Center Halloween party, for a pumpkin make & take from 9am – noon. And, on Sunday, October 26, join Roots & Wings Forest School for Tricks or Trails at Blacks Grove Park from 2-4PM, to enjoy a free family hike in nature with stops for tricks, treats, & treasures along the way.

In addition, on Halloween Day—Friday, October 31st—from 4:30–6:30 p.m., the 14th annual NYM Trunk or Treat will take place in the Mills Country Market parking lot. The Cultural Center will join the festivities with a special art-themed treat for participants, thanks to support from a Lake Region Electric Cooperative Operation Round-Up grant.

All events promise family fun, community connection, and of course, treats for all!
