
MINNESOTA. (11/11/2025)— The University of Minnesota Extension is inviting small flock owners and producers to attend a series of workshops titled “Flock Foundations and Coop Conversations” in early 2026 across Minnesota. The workshops are designed to provide essential knowledge for raising a healthy and productive small flock and to address common poultry care misconceptions.
Participants will connect with University of Minnesota Extension educators and specialists and other poultry enthusiasts while discussing mobile poultry housing, heritage breed research, and practical biosecurity measures to keep flocks disease-free.
The workshop series will be held at four locations across Minnesota. Cost to attend is $10.
