Wadena City Library To Host Special Programming For BookEnds At Green Island In Wadena

You are invited to the trail at Green Island in Wadena!

Patrons may conduct a self-guided poetry walk from Monday, October 13th to Saturday, November 8th, sunrise to sunset. Featured is the collection “Ordinary Omens” by LeAnn Bjerken. Selected poems feature the natural world, spiritualism and occult topics, perfect for Halloween and All Soul’s Day.

 

On Saturday, November 8th at 11:30am, LeAnn Bjerken will be at the Wadena City Library for a book discussion.

Green Island is an open-space preserve and is located at: 850 Scheer Road, Northeast, Wadena, Minnesota, 56482

 

The Wadena City Library is part of the Kitchigami Regional Library System and is located at: 210 1st Street, Southwest, Wadena, Minnesota, 56482

Now in its seventh season, BookEnds is a monthly literary event connecting readers and writers.

 

BookEnds is made possible through a grant from the Five Wings Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Legacy Amendment Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund, to the Wadena City Library.
