Our next Wolverine Player Spotlight puts the focus on Grant Nelson, a senior on the WDC Nordic ski team!

Grant also was named the Section boys representative for the Triple-A Award this week!

Here is what Wadena-Deer Creek head Nordic ski coach Terry Olson had to say about Grant’s performance all season long.

“Grant is a senior captain who has skied Nordic for six years. We just completed the section meet in which he led his teammates to an 8th place finish. Not only was he the Wolverines number one in the pursuit in 24th, but he recruited teammates who were instrumental in that excellent finish. His work ethic phenomenal putting extra time on the weekend at various cross country ski trails. A great role medol for his teammates.”
