Our next Wolverine Player Spotlight puts the focus on Karly Haverkamp, a junior on the Wadena-Deer Creek cross country team!

Here is what head cross country coach Mike Brunsberg had to say about Amber’s performance last week.

“Karly became just the fourth Wolverine girl to break the 20:00 mark since the 5K era began in 2015. She did so by beating her previous personal record by 38 seconds at the Dragon Twilight in Moorhead last Friday—running a superb 19:54. Earlier in the week, Karly earned Top 10 honors at the Johanna Olson—coming in 8th.”
