Our next Wolverine Player Spotlight puts the focus on Leo Petrowski, a junior on the Wadena-Deer Creek football team!

Leo had 146 yards rushing for 2 touchdowns and 1 catch for 35 yards in the Wolverines 36-30 victory against Menahga last Friday.

Here is what head football coach Kyle Petermeier had to say about Leo’s performance last week.

“Leo had a great game on Friday. He is one of our most explosive athletes so getting him the ball in space can be beneficial for our offense. The offensive line blocked great in front of him and he made some great plays behind them. This is Leo’s first year in his new position and he is settling in well as the weeks go on! Nice job Leo!”
