It’s been a long and winding road throughout the summer. But now we know who will be playing at the 2026 Minnesota Baseball Association State Tournament next weekend!

Friday, August 14
Region 11C
Long Prairie – 3 vs. Detroit Lakes – 5
Urbank – 2 vs. Sauk Centre – 0
Saturday, August 15
Region 5B
Bluffton – 7 vs. Bemidji Blue Ox – 4
- The Braves return to the state tournament for the first time since making the state semi-final in 2023. This is Bluffton’s first time going to state in Class B and first time as Region 5B champions.
Region 11C
New York Mills – 6 vs. Perham – 5 (F/11)
- It was a back and forth nail biter from Al Krueger Field. New York Mills comes away with the winning run in the 11th inning to return to the state tournament as the champions of Region 11C for the first time since 2024!
Detroit Lakes – 1 vs. Urbank – 2
Urbank – 5 vs. Perham – 4
- The Bombers work their way back through the elimination bracket to claim the second state tournament bid from Region 11C!
Region 4C
Hawley – 4 vs. Fosston – 5 (F/11)
- Another extra inning affair has the Fosston Trash Pandas (great name btw) with an extra inning victory to keep their season alive.
Ada – 3 vs. Nimrod – 1
- The Ada Athletics punch their ticket to state as the champions of Region 4C!
Sunday, August 16
Region 4C
Nimrod – 6 vs. Fosston – 2
- The Gnats are going BACK to the state tournament as the second bid from Region 4C
