Time for STATE! We have great representation from our area in the 2026 Minnesota Baseball Association State Baseball Tournament with four local teams. Three of them playing this weekend.
Let’s take a look at the first round schedule.
Saturday, August 22
New York Mills Millers @ New Prague Orioles – 11 a.m.
- Millers square off with the host team in New Prague. Millers will be the home team on the scoreboard but the ballfield, dugouts, and most likely crowd advantages will stay with the Orioles at Memorial Park Stadium
Ada Athletics vs. Urbank Bombers – 1:30 p.m.
- Returning to the state tournament, Urbank squares off with Region 4C champion Athletics
- Game will take place in New Prague
Sunday, August 23
Nimrod Gnats vs. Atwater Chuckers – 1:30 p.m.
- Returning to the state tournament, the Gnats will battle in a name bowl with two great branded teams as the Chuckers square off with the Gnats
- Game will be held in New Prague
- Listen on the Superstation K-106 (105.9FM) and online at wadenaradio.com or the Superstation K-106 app! Pregame coverage starts around 1:15 p.m.
Bluffton Braves are in the Class B State Tournament and have a first round bye. They will play the winner of Cold Spring Springers vs. Foley Lumberjacks next weekend.
