
Across central Minnesota there are several Memorial Day programs to honor those who have served.
Here is a list of area programs;
Leaf Mountain Lutheran Church “Mountain Men Annual Memorial Day Dinner.”
- Join us for a Cemetery Ceremony honoring our veterans at approximately 10:00 AM
- Monday 11 a.m to 1 p.m.
- Menu: BBQ’s, Hot Dogs, Ham, Baked Beans, Potato, Salad, Watermelon, Bars
- Entertainment: Greg Lehrke & Nathan Hanson 11:30-12:30 p.m.
- Free will donation
- A Thrivent Action Event- All funds will be given to assist Area Fire Departments

Deer Creek American Legion Memorial Day Program

- Menu: French Toast, Egg bake, Sausage, Orange Juice, Coffee, and Milk
- Free will donation
- Program at Community Center at 10:30
- Speaker: Jim Bakkila US Army retired and Otter tail County Veteran Service Officer.
Wadena Veterans Park Memorial Day Program

In the event of inclement weather, the service will be held at the memorial auditorium.
There will also be a memorial program to honor the servicemen and women who died at sea.
- This Memorial program will be held at the veterans park dock approximately ten minutes following the memorial program.
