Bertha Days Returns This Weekend

BERTHA, Minn.– It’s going to be a busy weekend in Bertha. Festivities known as Bertha Days return July 8-9 all over town.

City wide garage sales will take place through the weekend. Also, a medallion hunt is underway with $50 in Bertha Bucks hidden somewhere in town. Here’s a full list of the activities for the weekend.

Friday Events 

  • 9 a.m.
    • Bertha Museum open to the public
    • Seip Drug serving root beer floats
    • Star Bank serving snacks and juice
  • 6 p.m.
    • Coin Dig
  • 6:30 p.m.
    • Bingo at the Bertha Community Center
    • Bouncy houses next to Seip Drug
  • 8 p.m.
    • DJ provided in front of Buford’s Bar and Grill

Saturday Events

  • 8:30 a.m.
    • Bear Chase – 1 mile run followed by 5k run/walk
  • 9:00 a.m.
    • Bertha Museum open to the public
    • Bounces houses
    • Vendor/craft sales
    • Make and take art booths for kids and adults
    • Face painting
  • 10 a.m.
    • Truck and tractor pull – free admission – registration at 8 a.m.
  • 11 a.m.
    • Sloppy Joe and pork sandwich lunch until 2 p.m. at the Bertha Community Center
  • 12 p.m.
    • Live music outside Buford’s
  • 1 p.m.
    • Bean bag tournament – sign up begins at noon
  • 3 p.m.
    • Sports Boosters Penny Auction ticket sales begin at Bertha fire hall
  • 7 p.m.
    • Grand parade
    • Penny Auction, bike drawings to begin after parade
  • 8:30 p.m.
    • Street dance with music by The MudWugs – free admission
