VERNDALE, Minn.– A current senior at Verndale made her college commitment this week.

Cassie Lamphere announced her intention to play volleyball next year at Crown College for the Polars!

Lamphere helped the Pirates reach a 21-8 record during her senior season in volleyball. The Pirates reached the 5A Sub-Section Championship in 2023.

Crown College is a Division-III college in Saint Bonifacius, Minnesota. The Polars are a member of the Upper Midwest Athletics Conference (UMAC). Also on the Polars roster is Maggie Claussen from Staples-Motley, who will be a sophomore next season.
