Feeding High Oleic Beans Featured at Enchanted Dairy Field Day on August 14

Unnamed (1)

ST. CLOUD, MN. (7/21/2026)— Dairy farmers, consultants, and ag service providers are invited to attend a High-Oleic Soybean Field Day at Enchanted Dairy on Friday, August 14. The event will showcase the latest in on farm roasting technology, weed control and agronomic considerations, and how High-Oleic beans can improve dairy farmers’ profit.

The featured highlight of the day is a firsthand look at an advanced oil jacket roaster operating inside a specialized roasting room. This high-end system uses an off-site computer monitoring network driven by a PLC. If the beans drop or rise outside of the optimum temperature range, the system automatically alerts the farm to protect feed quality. Lyndel Martin, designer of the system, will be on-site to answer technical questions alongside roaster manager Austin Schmitt.
