Henning Santa Day To Bring Community Into Christmas Season Saturday

HENNING, Minn.– Henning’s Santa Day will take place Saturday, December 4 from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. around the community to get into the holiday spirit for a day filled with Christmas activities, Santa Parade, and a tree lighting ceremony.

Here is a list of the activities for Saturday below.

  • 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Trinity Center Activities
    • Arts and crafts for kids, board games, and gift drawings for all ages. Snacks will be provided by Henning C.H.A.T.
  • 2-4 p.m. Santa will be at the Landmark Center
  • 4 p.m.-Gone, Hot chocolate and cookies at the Landmark Center
    • Provided by Henning Church Youth
  • 4-7 p.m. Food at the Landmark Center
    • Provided by Henning Lions Club
  • 5 p.m. Santa Parade 
    • Lineup at 4:30 p.m. at St. Edward’s Church. Any and all float entries welcome, just show up and line up!
    • Parade begins at St. Edward’s and ends at the Landmark Center
  • 6 p.m. Tree lighting and caroling

Letters to Santa can be dropped off at the Landmark Center in the Santa Mailbox. Stocking stuffer and toy drive dropoff is by the Christmas tree at the Landmark Center all day. Parade route is posted on the City of Henning’s website and Facebook page, along with Henning PD’s Facebook page.
