Verndale, MN – Last month, Invenergy, the developer of the Bent Paddle Solar Energy Center, presented two donations to local services in Verndale: a $2,500 donation to the Verndale Fire Department and $5,000 to the Verndale School to support their playground renovation, including adding inclusive equipment, improving drainage, and ensuring kids of all ages and abilities can enjoy the space.

“We’re honored to support these two organizations that do so much for the Verndale community—whether that’s the volunteer firefighters keeping the area safe or the Verndale Legacy Foundation, ensuring locals have a great place to live,” said Molly Malone, Invenergy Local Affairs Manager. “As we continue our work on the Bent Paddle Solar Energy Center, we’re proud to invest in organizations that serve the community and are important to the resiliency of the Verndale area.”
