Clayton Ryan Duo to Perform at NYMRCC on April 30
Pay What You Can • Original Live Music • All Are Welcome
NEW YORK MILLS, MN, April 10, 2026—The New York Mills Regional Cultural Center will conclude its 2026 Spring Concert Series with a live performance by the Clayton Ryan Duo on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 7:30 PM.
Held in the Cultural Center’s intimate listening-room-style gallery space, the concert promises an evening of original music, storytelling, and humor. Doors open at 7:00 PM. No tickets are required, and seating is first come, first served. Guests may also enjoy a cash bar and snacks during the event.
A Minnesota songwriter with deep Midwestern roots, Clayton Ryan has built his career through relentless touring, authentic songwriting, and a powerful live presence. Without the backing of a major label or industry support, he has cultivated a loyal following one performance at a time.
Ryan’s music has been featured in television and film, including NASCAR, NFL Sunday Night Football, and Clarkson’s Farm. He has shared stages with nationally recognized artists including Collin Raye, John Michael Montgomery, Jo Dee Messina, Flatland Cavalry, and Liam St. John. In addition to his work as a recording artist, Ryan has spent years as a touring bassist and songwriter, bringing a broad range of experience and insight to his performances.
“This concert is a wonderful way to close our spring season,” said Executive Director Betsy Roder. “Clayton Ryan’s music reflects the grit, honesty, and connection that audiences in rural communities truly appreciate. His performance style is engaging, heartfelt, and memorable.”
Local audiences may remember Clayton as the opening act for Deuces Wild in February 2025 at the City Hall Ballroom. Following his performance, many attendees requested getting Clayton back for a full concert at the Cultural Center. We are thrilled to bring that request to life on Thursday, April 30th. For this special NYM concert, Clayton will be joined by freelance musician and Americana singer songwriter Zander from St. Paul, Minnesota.
The event is part of the Cultural Center’s Pay What You Can Concert Series, made possible by a grant from the Lake Region Arts Council. While grant funding supports artist fees and promotion, community contributions help sustain the series and ensure original live music remains accessible in rural West-Central Minnesota. Audience members are encouraged to contribute what they can at the event or support the series online [here].

These activities are made possible in part by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Lake Region Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.
