MENAHGA, Minn.– A huge career milestone was reached last week for one Menahga senior.

Menahga Braves senior boys basketball forward Bodie Berttunen scored his 1,000 point Friday night vs. Staples-Motley! Berttunen has been one of the leading scorers for the Braves this season as a multi-threat scorer as a slasher, outside shooting, and being physical down in the post.

The Braves are trying to finish the regular season string heading into the Section 8AA playoffs with an 8-17 overall record and a 6-8 record in the Park Region Conference. Regular season action for Menahga will wrap up with the season finale Friday night when they host Browerville-Eagle Valley
