Pay What You Can • Original Live Music • All Are Welcome
NEW YORK MILLS, MN, April 10, 2026—The New York Mills Regional Cultural Center (NYMRCC) continues its 2026 Concert Series with a live performance by rising Minnesota artist Zach Thomas on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 7:30 PM.
Audiences are invited to experience an evening of original music in the Cultural Center’s intimate, listening-room-style gallery. Known for his powerful voice and authentic songwriting, Thomas creates a dynamic and engaging live performance that connects deeply with listeners.
After making his New York Mills debut at Pickletoberfest 2025, Thomas returns to the Cultural Center for a full-length originals show, offering audiences a deeper look into his music, stories, and artistic journey.
Doors open at 7:00 PM, and the concert begins at 7:30 PM. No tickets are required, and all are welcome. Seating is first come, first served. A cash bar and snacks will be available.
Hailing from Wendell, Minnesota, Thomas kicked off his music career with two top 100 finishes on the hit TV show American Idol. His willingness to press the boundaries between country and rock has earned him a dedicated following. Zach’s passion for music is evident in every performance. A nominee for the 2023 Midwest Country Music Organization “Male Vocalist of the Year,” his 2022 EP Better Off reached #14 on the iTunes Country Album Charts. He has shared the stage with national acts including Kane Brown, Dylan Scott, Easton Corbin, Charlie Daniels, Rodney Atkins, Kolby Cooper, and Keith Urban.
This performance is part of NYMRCC’s Pay What You Can spring concert series, designed to make live music accessible to all. The series is made possible in part by a grant from the Lake Region Arts Council (LRAC). While grant funding helps support artist fees and promotion, community contributions are essential to sustain continued access to high-quality live music in rural west-central Minnesota. Audience members are encouraged to contribute what they are able at the door or online [here].
“Come experience original live music in a welcoming and intimate setting,” said Executive Director Betsy Roder. “Once you attend a concert here, you’ll want to come back again and again.”
