OTTER TAIL COUNTY, Minn. — Otter Tail County Commissioners will host a community open house from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, at the Richville Community Center, 100 Grove St.
The event is not a formal Board of Commissioners meeting. Instead, it gives residents a chance to talk directly with commissioners and county staff about local initiatives and services.
District 1 Commissioner Dan Bucholz invites residents to attend: “I look forward to listening to the people we represent and meeting them face-to-face in Richville,” Bucholz said. “This is a chance for residents to ask questions, share concerns and tell us what matters most in their community.”
County staff from several departments will be on hand to share updates and answer questions.
- Solid Waste directors will share an update on single-sort recycling.
- County Engineer Teich will review this year’s completed construction projects, preview what is planned for next year and discuss how maintenance operations may change in the years ahead. The Highway Department will be gathering public input as staff updates the road improvement program.
- Elections staff will share information about voting options, absentee and early voting timelines, how to become an election judge, and polling place safety.
- The Community Development team will highlight local projects underway across the county.
After the brief presentations, attendees can speak directly with commissioners, ask questions, and share feedback. Light refreshments will be served. The event is open to all. Learn more at ottertailcounty.gov.
