Retired Twins TV Voice Dick Bremer Speaking At Fundraiser In Brainerd Next Month

Dick Bremer, who spent over 40 years as the TV voice of the Minnesota Twins, will be speaking at the Brainerd Elks Annual Fishing Fling Banquet.

The Brainerd Elks Fishing Fling will be held at the Brainerd National Guard Armory on Wednesday, May 8th . The Fishing Fling event is an annual fund raiser to provide area high school students with thousands of dollars in scholarships.

This event is open to the public and there will be many opportunities to win from an incredible array of prizes. Some of the prizes include a thousand dollars from Cub Foods, a Gophers Weekend, VIP Passes to Lakes Jam, $250 Cragun’s Resort certificates, A mini fridge filled with Schell’s Beer and countless rods, reels, tackle, and so much more.

Social hour begins at 5, with dinner at 7 and a program, featuring guest speaker, MN Hall of Fame Broadcaster, Dick Bremer, the television voice of the Minnesota Twins for over 40 years, and Staples High School graduate. The hundreds prizes to follow.

Choice of dinner is Prime Rib or Chicken and the Tickets are $75.
