PERHAM, MINN (KWAD) – A 40-year-old Dent woman died following a rollover crash early Saturday in Otter Tail County, authorities said.

The crash was reported at approximately 5:45 a.m. near 460th Street, southwest of Perham, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office. A preliminary investigation indicates a Ford F-150 pickup truck left the roadway and overturned into a farm field. A passenger in the vehicle, later identified as Nichole Shoultz, was ejected during the crash.

Shoultz was transported to a hospital emergency room in a private vehicle several hours after the incident, where she later died, authorities said. A 33-year-old man from Dent has been arrested in connection with the crash. Officials have not released his name or said what charges he may face. The investigation remains ongoing with assistance from the Minnesota State Patrol and the Perham Police Department.
