ELIZABETH, MINN (KWAD) – A dramatic crash between two semi-trucks on Interstate 94 in west-central Minnesota sent one rig careening off the freeway and onto the County Road 10 underpass below.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the collision occurred around 10:20 a.m. Wednesday in Otter Tail County near Mile Marker 47 northwest of Fergus Falls. Photos shared by authorities show a semi pulling two trailers with severe damage, resting beneath the interstate after veering off near the County Road 10 bridge.
While details about the second truck’s condition weren’t immediately available, images suggest it came to a stop on the I-94 bridge.
One driver was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the State Patrol.
As of 12:30 p.m., I-94 has reopened, but County Road 10 remains closed while authorities manage the scene.
