WADENA, Minn.– Tri-County Health Care will be continuing their vaccination efforts for children ages 5-11 with another vaccination clinic Thursday, November 18 from 4-8 p.m.

This comes as the FDA granted emergency use authorization for the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5-11 last month.

Vaccines will be administered at the Wadena Clinic. TCHC staff say to enter at the main entrance on Deerwood Avenue. The vaccine will consist of a two-dose series. Parents will be able to schedule their child’s second dose appointment during their first dose visit. A parent must be present for the vaccination and there is a standard 15 minute waiting period after the shot.

TCHC has already held two other child COVID vaccine clinics on Wednesday, November 10 and Thursday, November 11 from 1-4 p.m. To schedule an appointment, call TCHC at 218-631-3510. Walk-ins are also accepted.
