SEBEKA & MENAHGA, Minn.– United North Central wrestling capped another successful season with a Section 8A title and a trip to the State Team Wrestling Tournament. Now, their coaching staff also is taking home some section hardware.

Head UNC Wrestling Coach Jake Oyster was named the Section 8A Wrestling Coach of the Year.

Oyster led the Warriors to their third consecutive Section 8A title and state tournament appearance. The Warriors finished the season with a 26-6 overall record and a 9-0 record against Section 8A opponents. UNC’s season came to an end as the state consolation runner-up.
