Please join us in welcoming researcher and author Janet Preus (“PROYCE”) to the Wadena City Library on Saturday, October 11th at 11:30am for the next edition of BookEnds.

She will be here to discuss her fictionalized historical reportage The Thirteenth Crime. The book relates twelve instances of injustice in late 19th Century Otter Tail County followed by the detailed murder case of a 15-year-old girl in 1887, and the possibility that an innocent man was charged with the crime.

The Wadena City Library is part of the Kitchigami Regional Library System and is located at: 210 1st Street, Southwest, Wadena, Minnesota, 56482

BookEnds is free and open to the public. You may come to the library to watch the event and participate or watch from home on YouTube by following this link: https://youtube.com/live/_xZX5m5yYLo

Now in its seventh season, BookEnds is a monthly literary event connecting readers and writers.

BookEnds is made possible through a grant from the Five Wings Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Legacy Amendment Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund, to the Wadena City Library.

For information on future BookEnds, you may call the Wadena City Library at 218-631-2476 or email Library Assistant Dan at touchetted@krls.org.
