Wolverine Player of the Week: Isabelle Larson

Wdc 2

Our first Wolverine Player of the Week for the spring sports season is Isabelle Larson, a junior on the WDC track and field team!

Here is what Wadena-Deer Creek head track and field coach Marc Reynolds had to say about Isabelle’s performance last week.

“Isabelle has had a great start to the season competing in pole vault, long jump, triple jump and the sprinting events. She has already notched numerous top 10 and top 5 finishes this year and will score a lot of team points for the Wolverines throughout the season. One highlight so far this season was Isabelle long jumping a new personal record of 15′ 9.5″ to finish in 4th place at Bemidji State. 15′ 9.5″ put Isabelle in the WDC School Record Book with the 8th best long jump in school history. Isabelle’s leadership and dedication to the sport have been on display all season long and she is a great role model to our younger athletes!!!”

Congratulations Isabelle!
