Our next Wolverine Player Spotlight puts the focus on Lane Kaufman, a sophomore on the Wadena-Deer Creek cross country team!

Here is what head cross country coach Mike Brunsberg had to say about Lane’s performance last week.

“Lane Kaufman has stepped-up and taken over as the Wolverine boys’ new #1 this season–a role he has embraced with relish and resolve. It’s no surprise that he ran well at the Roy Griak Invite on Saturday (narrowly missing a PR), for his practices last week were strong. He pretty much ran the perfect race pace at the Fort Snelling course–ending the day hungry to race again and prove more at the Border Battle next Saturday!”
