Our next Wolverine Player Spotlight puts the focus on Owen Anderson, a junior on the Wadena-Deer Creek track and field team.

Here is what co-head track and field coach Ryan Damlo had to say about Owen’s performance at the Section 6A Meet last week.

“Owen Anderson is a junior who has continued to grow and get better. He helped lead our 4×800 relay team to a third place finish at sections, missing state by just 8 seconds! He also placed 4th individually in the 3200m with a new PR of 10:46.08. That over a minute faster than last season. Owen is a great leader on the track and knows how to push himself and others on the team!!”
