Jon Pardi is set to become the Grand Ole Opry’s newest member on October 24.

It’ll be a milestone for both the Opry and Pardi, as the “Last Night Lonely” hitmaker will be the institution’s first California native member.

“I mean, [the Grand Ole Opry is] a thing that country music is historic for, and it’s good to be a part of history,” says Jon.

“It’s your family, it’s the Opry, it’s country music and [you] get your name up there with some great, great artists and songwriters and great people,” he shares. “So, I’m excited to be a part of it.”
