The latest Wolverine Player of the Week is Cole Woods, a senior on the WDC boys golf team!

Cole recorded a first place finish at WDC’s home meet last week to continue his nice start to the season.

Here is what Wadena-Deer Creek head boys golf coach Scott Woods had to say about Cole’s performance last week.

“Cole is off to a great start this season!  He was the medalist in our first meet, 5th in the second and 3rd in the next meet.  Most of these meets have around 50 people competing.  He has put in a bunch of work to improve his game and it is showing right now!  His focus has improved as well being able to take things one shot at a time and move on to the next swing.”
